Why Island Peak?

Island Peak (Called Island Peak because it appears to float on a sea of ice) is the 2nd highest trekking peak in Mount Everest region first climbed by world famous Nepali mountaineer Tenzing Norgay together with three other foreign climbers in 1956.

Island Peak with Everest Base Camp enables you to witness mountains and snow-capped peaks as far as their eyes can see while standing on the snow at the elevation of 6,187m.
